How do I choose the correct PE carburetor size?
Start with your bike model, engine type, displacement and current carburetor size. Then confirm the engine-side mounting diameter, air-filter-side diameter and available installation space. Engine displacement is only a starting point—the final choice must match the actual dimensions and state of tune.
What is the difference between PE flange-mount and spigot-mount carburetors?
A flange-mount PE carburetor bolts directly to a matching intake flange, while a spigot-mount version slides into a rubber intake manifold and is secured with a clamp. Check your existing manifold and bolt spacing before ordering; the two mounting styles are not interchangeable without the correct adapter or manifold.
Can a PE carburetor replace my original PZ, VM or vacuum-diaphragm carburetor?
It may be possible, but it is not always a direct swap. Replacing a PZ or VM carburetor requires matching the mounting style and dimensions. Replacing a vacuum-diaphragm carburetor may also require a different throttle cable, throttle assembly, manifold or air-filter adapter.
Can I reuse my stock throttle cable with a PE carburetor?

Compare the cable end, thread and free length before installation.
Does a new PE carburetor need to be tuned after installation?

Begin with the supplied baseline settings, warm the engine fully, then adjust idle and mixture in small steps. Jet changes should be made only after checking for air leaks, clean fuel flow and correct installation.
Which air filter fits my PE carburetor?
Choose an air filter by the carburetor's air-filter-side outside diameter—not only by the carburetor bore size. Also check whether a straight or angled filter is needed to clear the frame and other components. Measure before ordering if the filter is not listed as a matched kit.
